"I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." -JESUS CHRIST, from Matthew 17:20
We love to pray with hurting people who recognize their need for God because we have been in those shoes, and we know what it's like. We understand the fear, anxiety, and pain that accompanies cancer. And we also know first-hand the power of faith. Our desire is to be a life-giving source of love, hope, comfort, peace, and strength.
We do this bypraying for any need a cancer patient or survivor may have, whether it is physical, emotional or spiritual. And we always pray for healing from cancer because, quite frankly, it's biblical (1). When Jesus Christ came to earth as a human, He healed every sick person that came to Him (2) by the authority that was given to Him (3). He then gave authority to His disciples to do the same (4). Those who believe in Jesus Christ today are His disciples and have authority to heal by praying for the sick (5). And that's what we are about. We give God our prayers of faith and He releases His love and grace (6).
The essence of our prayers at ACTIVATE THE CURE is our unwavering belief that God's will, as expressed in the Holy scripture, is for every person to be healed from cancer (7). Cancer is never from God (8). It is not a tool that He uses to teach us a lesson or strengthen our character. If you have questions about our theological position, READ MORE. There are many effective ways to pray, and our prayer strategy is just one of those ways. We gather folks weekly to pray for one hour using the 4 Parts of Prayer. Our prayer time is structured, but spirit-led. Check out our Participant Guide before attending one of our gatherings and come prepared to join in!
